ABC id is an goverment initiative,ONE NATION ONE ID for all student. ABC ID CARD is a 12-digit unique ID issued by the Ministry Of Education. It will help track educational progress and achievements of student. Students can digitally store all Educational qualification, achievements like exam results, learning outcomes, achievements in Olympiad, sports, skill training etc. Students can use the credit score for their higher education or employment purpose in future. ABC Id Card has Personal information, such as name, address, age, date of birth, gender and photograph, will be made available to entities engaged in various educational activities, scholarships, institutions. Aadhaar number will be masked while sharing data with other government users.

HOW TO DOWNLOAD ABC id card.
- CLick on the DOWNLOAD ABC ID CARD or google DigiLocker or Download DigiLocker mobile app.
- If you are a new user register yourself or login.
- After login click on the search document search ABC ID CARD or scroll dwon in Education and learning section you will find ABC ID CARD.
- click on the ABC ID CARD new page will open.
- Fill in the required details and click on ‘Get Document.’ If you have already done this earlier, you will be taken directly to the download page.
- Click on the dowload sing and then save as pdf

- Go to Login/Register and then click on student. New page will open up.
- Login or sing up.
- Constant page will open which ask to share document for ABC credits. And in perpose section chose Educational if you are student or chose whatever you purpose is and then click on allow.
- Select your document for KYC verification.
- New page will open fill your Aadhaar number and verify.
- Fill all the details and sumbit.
- Then you will allot a 12 digit APAAR/ABC ID. And click on go to dashboard.
- Here all you credit will show.

What is the Academic Bank of Credits (ABC)?
The Academic Bank of Credits (ABC) is an initiative of the Ministry of Education, regulated by the University Grants Commission (UGC). The digital platform is developed and maintained by Digital India Corporation, MeitY or Under Government of India. It facilitates the secure storage, accumulation, transfer, and redemption of academic credits earned by students from recognized educational institutions. It functions as a “credit bank” where academic achievements are digitally recorded and made accessible through a learner’s unique APAAR ID.APAAR (Automated Permanent Academic Account Registry) provides each learner with a unique lifelong APAAR ID, serving as their digital identity across educational platforms. ABC uses this APAAR ID to track and manage academic credits. Without an APAAR ID, a student cannot access or use ABC services, including credit transfers and academic progression. APAAR and ABC are deeply integrated and part of a unified digital public infrastructure for education, along with platforms like DigiLocker and the National Academic Depository (NAD). Together, they enable seamless interoperability, offering a single verifiable source of truth for academic records and benefits.
What are the eligibility criteria for institutions to register with ABC?
All eligible award-granting bodies recognized by the Ministry of Education, UGC, AICTE, NCVET, or any other competent regulatory authority can register with ABC. These institutions must be authorized to confer degrees, diplomas, or certificates and must adhere to ABC platform guidelines.
How to apply or create ABC ID CARD from mobile?
You can also follow the same steps on mobile. If needed, turn on ‘Desktop Site’ by clicking the three dots in the top-right corner of your Chrome browser. Alternatively, you can download the DigiLocker mobile app and follow the steps shown to download your ABC ID card.
